As part of a team dedicated to a major player in the pharmaceutical industry, and under the supervision of the Account Manager, you will be in charge of monitoring and the managing operations of various events. You will be responsible for the budgets and the coordination of the team involved in the events. You are accountable for the success of the events and the client’s satisfaction, while respecting the regulatory constraints.Together with the AM you are in contact with the clients and the requesters.You support the AM in the establishment and the realization of the projects. You also accompany the teams to ensure work is accomplished in compliance with the specifications.You provide regular reporting on financial and margin related aspects.You lead periodic operational meetings with the team on your projects.You have minimum 5 years of experience in leading teams and you master different event typologies as a referenced company: international congresses in Europe and USA, meetings, advisory boards, media evens, stand alone.You are familiar with Hotels Chains and event venues in major cities in EU and USA.You have an established network with hotel chains, GSO’s, DMC’s, AV and other providers for the pharmaceutical industry.Production management of complex events: • Building the budget and preparing presentations• Capability of reading floorplans and organize flow• To prepare AV list of needs• General coordination of the event: logistics, edition & signage, publishing, food & beverage, staffing• Application of the client’s procedure• Use of tools and documents• Team work and integration of various players and job experts• Capacity to organize and recruit resources in accordance with the specifications and the evolutions• Coordination of the providers (meetings, AV management, events, DMC, housing, congress organizers, restaurants,…)• Travel to main eventsFinancial monitoring: • Establishment and follow up of complex budgets• Invoicing• Updating the balance sheet• Margin reports• Savings Languages: • French: Excellent spoken and written level• English: Excellent spoken and written level Please specify any experience abroadCompetencies: • You are available, flexible, proactive and show organization and anticipation skills• Your interpersonal skills allow you to develop strong relation with the clients, the providers and the internal team• You have a good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, the medical sector and any further field related to restrictions and laws applicable for the event• You have a knowledge of AV and digital techniques• You are capable of accommodating change of strategies and emergenciesIT skills: • MS Office• Use Databases and Internet• Ease with IT tools
